My practice-based research is immersed within a constellation of human/animal perspectives, exploring the role my artistic practice can play in reimagining more-than-human worlds. My practice blends the documentary and performative and will be employed to frame interspecies relationships, questioning how these encounters can be mediated in artworks resulting in shifts in consciousness and perspective for viewers. It incorporates tools such as drawing, filmmaking and performance, involving direct collaboration with animal handlers, hunters and scientists. I explore filmmaking as a form of visual capture but also one of embrace, considering predatory and prey species vision, devising new filming methods and tools.
