“Challenging Neo-Geopolitics” aims to interpret, challenge, and transcend current decolonial discourse by drawing on the rich practice of contemporary Chinese visual arts. This provides a unique perspective from China on the global decolonial turn, extending existing debates and proposing new models of study of Chinese contemporary art practice and decolonial theory.
