My research will focus on ways of enhancing the musical experience for players of virtual instruments, which in themselves, provide little of the multi-sensory stimulation enjoyed by players of acoustic instruments. In doing this, I will endeavour to provide meaningful visual and haptic feedback systems, designed to enhance the enjoyment and ability of deaf players.
