This study explores the symbiotic relationship between musicians and audiences in South Asia and aims to apply these dynamics to enhance the visibility and expression of queer identities in visual art. By analyzing how audience engagement in music can inform participatory, co-creative practices in visual art, the research seeks to foster more inclusive, interactive artistic spaces for queer South Asian artists. It will explore cultural, social, and emotional dimensions of this relationship, using qualitative and quantitative methods to develop a framework for applying musical principles to visual art, promoting queer visibility, and addressing challenges in South Asian artistic communities.
