The Progression Assessment Panel (sometimes abbreviated to PAP) arrives at the end of the first year for all doctoral researchers. But what needs to be prepared? How long is it? Is it the same for everyone? Does it carry a notion of success or failure for the Ph.D.?

This informal workshop will explore all this and more with an aim to demystify the process. We will be joined by a mid-stage doctoral researcher who will talk about their experiences as well as a Research Degrees Coordinator.
