This practice-based research project aims to investigate how the multi-sensory experience of wearing and viewing jewellery can be changed with the enhancement of light as an interactive medium; it attempts to explore the possibilities of artificial light as sensory interactive medium for jewellery utilising recent developments in lighting technology.
Moreover, it seeks to establish the importance of the role and development of light in the design of jewellery and its contemporary appreciation as an artform.
