My research is practice based and concerned with extending and developing my artistic practice which is in the area of jazz / improvised and electronic musics incorperating composition, improvisation and performance I am seeking to expand my current practice through an exploration of aleatory, indeterminacy and related experimental strategies. The project will specifically examine how these concepts are applied in other disciplines and in what ways those applications are ‘mappable’ into my own artistic and pedagogical practice.
