We’re excited to announce that we have two upcoming conferences: How to play knowledge on the 3rd July and BOOOM! Making Research Memorable on the 4th July.
How to play knowledge – 3rd July
This conference is organised by ADM PhD students as a purpose-made forum for reflections on how to communicate research. To communicate is an art and every communication is a performance, so how to play knowledge?
Play as reproduction, play as performance, play as production, play as… you tell us!
And, it just gets better: the call for papers is still open! The conference organisers welcome abstracts for performances, exhibitions, papers, workshops and other suggestions. Download the call for papers here. Deadline: 7th June 2015. Email admpgrstudio@gmail.com for more information.
BOOOM! Making Research Memorable – 4th July
It’s not just what you have to say, but how you say it that counts. Whether speaking at symposia, lecturing, or taking part in TEDx or PechaKucha events, we all need to get our ideas across with maximum impact. This day of workshops, exercises and talks is designed to inspire you and give you practical tools to take with you. You’ll remember this event a year afterwards …
BOOOM! has a veritable feast of speakers including a Turner Prize winners, a comedian and a live poetry ensemble. Check out the conference programme here and find out more information on speakers here.
