Selbin Kabote is currently a PhD Research Student whose research interests are in the area of Communication for Development, Media & Diaspora Studies, Migration, International Journalism.
Selbin Kabote worked for the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation-ZBC, as a Radio News Sub-Editor from 1985 until 1995. He left the ZBC in 1995 to work in Johannesburg, South Africa for “Channel Africa” the external broadcasting services of the South African Broadcasting Corporation-SABC, as a Journalist/Producer on the English news desk. Selbin travelled to many parts of Africa reporting for Channel Africa as well as doing some consultation work for other international organisations.
