I am Senior Research Fellow in the Social Research and Evaluation Unit (SREU) based in the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Science at Birmingham City University. My PhD examines engagement with pop music heritage, particularly online. I am interested in finding out what motivates people to engage with pop heritage and what these activities mean to them. The project grew from my interest in music fandom and my own engagement with pop heritage. My other research interests include music fandom and 1960s rock/pop. In my spare time (!), I write and record music.
